(1) In addition to research achievements, educational abilities, social contribution achievements, and organizational management achievements of the university or other organizations will also be taken into consideration.

(4) After employment, you will be engaged in work related to educational training and training of in-service teachers as a teacher in the Faculty of Education.
(5) The Faculty of Education at Iwate University has been selected for the FY2025 MEXT program “Enhancement of Teacher Education Universities and Faculties through the Utilization of Regional Teacher Training Quota Programs.” The appointee will be engaged in duties related to collaboration with the Iwate Prefectural Board of Education and municipal boards of education, as well as the planning and implementation of educational programs utilizing regional teacher training quotas.
(6) To meet the diversifying needs of learning and to promote diverse and advanced media utilization, faculty members who are in charge of basic academic knowledge courses* in General Education Courses are required to create on-demand content for remote classes and a video syllabus (overview introduction).On-demand content for remote classes consists of 1 credit (7 lessons of 100 minutes each) × 2 subjects (2 credits) or more.

･Up to 1,000,000 yen for start-up expenses (research expenses) will be provided.
Tenure-track faculty members (Lecturers and Assistant Professors) will receive a research grant of 1,000,000 yen ,the amount for 2 years starting from the date of hire.

･Up to 1,000,000 yen of retention fund (research expenses) will be provided.
Female Professors/Associate Professors appointed to the university will receive 500,000 yen per year for 2 years as research expenses.
Female Lecturers and Assistant Professors appointed to the university will receive 200,000 yen, the amount for 2 years starting from the date of hire.
