Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Management of Poznan University of Technology announces

 

THE COMPETITION

For the position: assistant (W/M) in the group of research and teaching staff – 1 vacancy

Field: Social Sciences,

     Discipline: Management and Quality Sciences, 

(100% share of working time related to scientific activity in the discipline Management and Quality Sciences)

at the Institute of Management and Computing Systems,

Division of Enterpreneurship and Communication in Business

Candidates should meet the following conditions:

 

  • hold a Master degree in Computer Science and an Engineer degree in Automatics and Robotics, within the field of engineering and technical sciences,
  • have research interests aligned with the discipline of management and quality science,
  • have at least 5 years’ professional experience in the IT sector as a programmer,
  • have knowledge and skills in programming using high-level programming languages, in particular Python, PHP and JavaScript,
  • be familiar with modern frameworks using in the application development process, in particular React, Django, Flask and Laravel,
  • have practical experience working with technologies and tools supporting software development, including Git, Docker, jQuery, Bootstrap, |SQL and NoSQL,
  • have experience in integrating IT systems with external services and platforms, in particular Stripe, Revolut, Microsoft and Google,
  • have proven experience in delivering IT projects, covering planning, implementation and monitoring of their progress,
  • have experience in team management and the coordination of project teams,
  • have knowledge and experience in embedded systems and the implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions using the Arduino and Raspberry Pi platforms,
  • have experience in the design and implementation of computer vision systems using the OpenCV library and machine learning algorithms,
  • have a command of spoken and written English at a minimum B2 level, enabling the use of technical documentation and specialist literature,
  • have completed or willingness to complete pedagogical training.

The date of the contest settlement - no longer than 4 months from the closing date of the contest.

The salary and terms of remuneration will be discussed prior to the interview.

In the event that none of the candidates receives a positive evaluation from the selection board or in the absence of candidates, the Dean will close the competition. The person announcing the competition may cancel or close it without giving any reason.

3. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is the contract concluded between the client and the contractor - art. 6 clause 1 lit. b GDPR.

4. The data will be processed in order to conclude and settle the concluded contract.
5. Personal data will not be transferred to processors (Article 28 (1) of the GDPR). They can only be transferred to authorities authorized by law.

6. Documentation of persons concluding an agreement with the Poznan University of Technology, in particular regarding periods of employment and remuneration for work (and other documents on the basis of which the basis for the calculation of the old-age or disability pension was determined), will be kept for a period of 50 years from the end of the work with the payer by the insured - Art. 125 a sec. 4 of the Act on pensions from the Social Insurance Fund.

7. You have the right to access your data, the right to rectify it, the right to transfer data, when it also applies to their removal, processing restrictions and the right to object to processing.

8. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office when you feel that the processing of your personal data concerning violates the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation of April 27, 2016 (GDPR).

9. Providing your personal data is necessary to perform the contract. The consequence of not providing personal data will be the inability to conclude a civil law contract.

10. Your data will not be processed in an automated manner, including in the form of profiling.
