We are looking for a Applied AI Scientist passionate about new technologies and supporting the growth of Nokia Technologies ("TECH"). You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to support business processes and solutions development that enable Nokia TECH to grow its business.

Responsibilities
What you will learn and contribute to
Are you passionate about AI and want to apply both traditional and generative AI to solve challenging business needs?
As part of our team, you will:
- utilize traditional and generative AI methods, machine learning and natural language processing to create advanced analytics solutions and automate processes for patenting, licensing and legal
- participate in AI Platform and AI Solutions development and maintenance activities as part of a team of AI Scientists and AI Engineers to build a collaborative work environment that supports creating advanced analytics solutions
- support other project teams by performing deep dives into various technologies, develop, maintain and troubleshoot issues in AI and advanced analytics solutions
- work with Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, Data Scientists, SW developers, UX/UI Designers, Service Managers and IT Infrastructure Specialists to solve business needs and productize AI solutions
Qualifications
Your skills and experience
You have:
- A Master's degree in Computer Science or Technology
- Solid understanding and experience of programming with a generic ML stack in Python and experience with working with a range of ML libraries and large language models
- Ability to write high-quality, production-ready code (readable, well-tested, with well-designed APIs) with moderate level of guidance
- Knowledge of patenting and licensing processes and experience of standards analysis, familiarity of 3GPP and ORAN as well as related IT systems and data
It would be nice if you also had:
- Knowledge of MLOps, DevOps, Scrum, Software development processes, Application Maintenance and Support processes, large language models, prompt engineering, Data Lakes, Datawarehouses, relational and non-relational databases
- Experience of Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Databricks, MLFlow, Git, Azure Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Spark, OpenAI Services, open source LLMs, NLTK, scikit learn, pandas, spaCy, Tensorflow, tesseract, genism, Angular
- Ability to perform descriptive and inferential statistical analysis, and experience with applying methods such as predictive analytics, time series, hypothesis testing, classification, clustering and regression analysis
- Ability to take ownership on the assigned tasks and drive them actively
- Good communication skills, fluent oral and written English
- Curios can-do attitude and self-driven way of working in multiple parallel projects
